All staff members complete the College's Disability, Disclosure and Confidentiality training.

The Learner Support Department is able to produce written material to any given font size along with Braille documents grade 1 & 2 upon request.

Learners with assistance dogs are given orientation of the building and its environments, along with access to water and a bowl.

In addition, Leads (with Learner's permission) speak to the Learner's peers instructing them of assistance dog etiquette.

The manager of Learner Support is CACDP BSL (Grade II) & CACDP Deafblind (Grade 1) trained, and has 15 years experience of communication with Deaf and Deafblind people.

The College's partnership organisation Deaf First provide Communication Support Workers and have a part time specialist tutor of the Deaf.
