Equipment and Resources to Borrow

Route to (Waterwheel)

  • From the Waterfall view point continue on the path to the Turbine House (closed to the public) and turn right through an archway.
    Then turn right down a wooden ramp, with a width of 132cm.
    The waterwheel will be on your right.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel and paving stones.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located after you enter the site.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: remains of tinwork buildings, a waterwheel and waterfall.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: block paving, gravel and bonded gravel.
  • Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is step-free level access around some of the area.
  • There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas .
